Compact Solar Tracker Slewing Drive Description
The slew drive is a full rotary deceleration transmission mechanism which integrates the driving power source. It takes the slewing bearing as the transmission actuator and the mechanism attachment, by attaching the active part, the driving source and the shell to one ring in the inner and outer ring of the slewing bearing, while the other ring as both the transmission actuator and the connecting base of the driven working parts. In this way, by using the the characteristics of slewing bearing as the fully rotary connector to configure the drive power and the main drive parts effectively, making it a set of rotary, deceleration and drive functions and at the same time with simple structure, general type of deceleration transmission mechanism of easy manufacturing and maintenance.
Because of the high integration of the slew drive, the user does not have to purchase and manufacturing each accessory of the slew drive one by one, and to a certain extent also reduces the preparation process at the beginning of the product production, thus greatly improving the labor productivity. Compared with the traditional gear transmission, worm gear can get a relatively large deceleration ratio, in some cases, eliminating reducer components, so as to reduce procurement costs for customers, and also greatly reduce the fault generation rate of the slew drive.
