Concentrated solar power-CSP
The core of the solar thermal power generation and heat collection technology is concentrating light, so its requirements for the day tracking system are higher than those of photovoltaic power generation. The difference between the two is that photovoltaics can be tracked in one or two axes, and depending on the specific technical route of CSP, the requirements for the form of tracking are also different. For example, trough technology can only use single-axis tracking, and tower technology must use dual-axis tracking. In terms of tracking accuracy, the CSP tracking system has higher accuracy requirements, ranging from 0.03 degrees to 0.05 degrees, while photovoltaic power generation tracking has less stringent requirements for accuracy, and about 0.1 degrees can fully meet the requirements.
