Traditionally, people in Asia including China, Japan and Korea, drink liquor after warming it up in the cold winter time as a healthier way than drinking it cold. Before the liquor is taken into your mouth, fragrance would spread in the room. It’s one of the pleasures you can enjoy in drinking liquor, i.e. smelling of the liquor fragrance. It’s believed 2 cups of the liquor at 37°C is equivalent to 5 cups of the same served at 18°C. Believe or not, you can make a comparison experiment personally, as it’s said that knowledge roots in practice.
