Q235 Q345 Steel Railroad Track Tie Plates - Hot Forged & Casting Options for 43KG to 141RE Standards
Steel tie plates (also known as baseplates or sole plates) are essential components installed between T-rails and crossties in railway track systems. These plates significantly increase bearing area while maintaining proper rail gauge alignment, secured to wooden ties using spikes or bolts through pre-drilled holes.

Our railway cast iron backing plates are manufactured using the lost foam casting method, melted in 60kg intermediate frequency electric furnaces. The casting process maintains vacuum at 0.03 MPa with pouring temperature of 1580°C, followed by shot blasting and precision heat treatment.
Comprehensive metallurgical analysis ensures optimal microstructure. Our improved normalizing process (850℃ heating temperature, 1h holding time, air cooling) eliminates brittle Widmanstatite structures, significantly enhancing impact resistance and preventing fracture under stress.
