Power System & Operation
These electric flat cars utilize a sophisticated power delivery system where ground step-down transformers convert AC 380V to AC 36V, which is transmitted through insulated rails to the vehicle's electrical system. The KPDS series employs three-phase power with onboard step-up transformers, while the KPDZ series uses two-phase power with DC motor control.
