It operates at precise arc strike speed (254mm/s) and repetition frequency (40 times/min), performing up to 200 arc strikes on specimen surfaces. The High Current Arc Ignition (HAI) performance is assessed based on whether the sample ignites, with lower grade numbers indicating more difficult-to-burn materials.
