What are the three types of valve seals?
The O-ring seal became used on many tens of thousands and thousands of older General Motors engines. It suits beneathneath the keepers, inner of the spring retainer. Oil is pumped thru a hole pushrod to a hollow withinside the rocker arm in which it spills onto the valve spring retainer. Without the O-ring seal, oil might be capable of leak down the stem and into the manual.
