What is crankshaft oil seal?
The crankshaft seal is the seal placed at the the front of the engine that seals the cease of the crankshaft with the timing cowl. Most crankshaft seals are product of rubber and steel and are spherical in shape. They are typically established withinside the the front timing cowl and seal the cease of the crankshaft because it rotates.

Engine oil leak or oil splattered to your engine.
Oil spraying at the snatch.
The snatch slipping due to the fact oil is spraying at the snatch.

- The PTFE lips are more aggressive and abrasive to the shaft than most other elastomeric materials such as rubber
