What is CNC metal bending and forming?

Metal bending and forming refers to the process of reshaping metal using brake presses and other machine presses. We use CNC (Computer Numerically Controlled) presses, this process is precise, versatile and can be automated using CAD/CAM drawings to increase efficiency and reduce lead times. CNC bending and machining involves the development and implementation of specialized computer programs to control the operation of the press, thereby increasing the accuracy of the finished product

The CNC metal bending process requires the bending machine to be programmed to accept flat sets of sheet metal parts at a specified distance determined by the point formed by the bend. The press brake basically clamps the workpiece between matching dies and punches. The sides of the press brake consist of two C-frames attached to a movable beam at the top and a table at the bottom. The top tool is mounted on the upper beam, while the bottom tool is attached to the table
