Introduction to CNC bending

Computer Numerical Control (CNC) press brakes, also known as CNC press brakes, can bend sheet metal at specific angles using a preset program between a matching upper punch and die. Keeping up with the times, the bending of this sheet metal is done by MEK's CNC machines, as CNC bending machines allow for increased precision. CNC press brakes can be used for simple bending to make complex parts and structures

When bending sheet metal with a conventional press brake, the setup time is long and tedious, requiring many attempts and trial and error to get the correct bend angle. When multiple bends have to be made on a sheet of metal, they are done individually by manually setting the backgauge for each bend and then processing the entire batch. After this, the operator moves on to the next corner. This results in a waste of time, manpower and material resources
