Metal Materials We Weld
We use a number of different material grades to meet customer specifications. Welding services are available for the following metals:
Stainless steel:There are various grades to choose from. Stainless steel contains at least 11% chromium in addition to other elements such as nickel, copper and molybdenum. Various grades of stainless steel have good weldability, making them an excellent choice for custom fabrication projects
Nickel alloy:Weldingnickel alloys require additional protection from oxygen and other contaminants, which can lead to porosity, cracking and stress corrosion
aluminum:Available in 3003, 5052 and other alloys. All aluminum alloys we use can be easily welded for custom fabrication purposes. Depending on the thickness of the section, our technicians will typically use GMAW or GTAW to form the bond
Carbon Steel:MIG welding is mainly done with carbon steel. But also stick welding, TIG welding process
Other materials we use include galvanized steel. Which is best for your project - and how best to solder it - will depend on many different factors
