Working Principle
The VPSA Oxygen Generator operates through molecular sieve technology that selectively adsorbs nitrogen from air at ambient temperature, producing oxygen with purity levels between 90-94%. The system achieves cyclical operation through alternating adsorption and desorption phases.
Filtered air enters adsorption towers containing molecular sieves and activated alumina. As air flows through the molecular sieve bed, nitrogen molecules are adsorbed while oxygen passes through to a buffer tank. The oxygen is then pressurized for storage and use.
When molecular sieves reach nitrogen saturation, the system switches to desorption mode using vacuum pressure to remove nitrogen, followed by purging with oxygen-rich gas. This continuous cycle ensures uninterrupted oxygen production.
