PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) technology represents a revolution in non-cryogenic air separation and oxygen generation, utilizing a special grade of Zeolite Molecular Sieve (ZMS).

The system operates through a twin tower PSA module with automatic changeover valves. Compressed air first passes through a refrigerated dryer for moisture removal. The dried air then contacts the ZMS bed, which preferentially adsorbs nitrogen molecules. While one tower produces oxygen, the other undergoes regeneration through depressurization to atmospheric pressure. The generated oxygen is stored in a surge vessel where pressure is maintained by a back pressure regulator.
