Itroduction
Alloy 302 is an austenitic stainless steel with better corrosion resistance than Alloy 301. Due to its higher nickel content, Alloy 302 does not work harden as quickly as Alloy 301. This alloy cannot be hardened by heat treatment and is non-magnetic in the annealed state. It becomes increasingly magnetic as it is cold worked.
