Describe
31CrMoV9 is a nitrided steel containing at least 2.3% Cr, 0.15% Mo, 0.1% V as strengthening alloying elements. Due to its high wear resistance, it is mainly used in the automotive industry and in mechanical engineering for general components. 30CrMoV9 is difficult to weld, so it should not be used in welded structures. After nitriding, the surface hardness can reach 800 HV.
