Product Information
1.2343 hot work tool steel is designated as a group H steel according to the AISI classification system. Air hardening is possible in sections up to 150mm thick. Due to the balanced alloy content, these steels undergo minimal deformation during hardening. Tools made of chromium hot work steels can be cooled with water without damage due to the low carbon and alloy content of these steels.
Size Range
Round bar / Wire rod (Diameter): 5.0 mm to 800 mm
Square bar / Flat bar: 3.0 mm to 500 mm
Forging piece: Stepped shafts with flanks / discs /tubes /slugs /donuts /cubes /other different shapes based on OEM.
Heavy/middle plate via hot rolled: T5 - 1000 mm X W10 - 1000 mm X L1000-12000 mm
Sheet steel via cold rolled: T0.8 - 10 mm X W5 - 1000 mm X L300 - 1000 mm
Steel strip via cold rolled: T0.1 - 10 mm X W10 - 1000 mm X L (or in coil form)
Length: Fixed length or random length or based on the customer's special requirement.
