Product Information

X38CrMo 16/1.2316 is used for chromium molybdenum steels hardened in oil and has very good hardenability and good robustness during heating. Due to the increased chromium content, the corrosion resistance of the steel increases. The steel has excellent wear resistance, good processability and polishability, and is delivered in a heat-treated state when used.

Size Range

Round bar / Wire rod (Diameter): 10.0 mm to 500 mm

Square bar / Flat bar:10.0 mm to 500 mm

Forging piece: Stepped shafts with flanks / discs /tubes /slugs /donuts /cubes /other different shapes based on OEM.

Heavy/middle plate via hot rolled: T3 - 1000 mm X W10 - 1000 mm X L1000-12000 mm

Sheet steel via cold rolled: T3.0 - 10 mm X W5 - 1000 mm X L100 - 1000 mm

Steel strip via cold rolled: T5.0 - 10 mm X W5 - 1000 mm X L (or in coil form)

Length: Fixed length or random length or based on the customer's special requirement.

Applications
