Product Information

X29CrS13 is a stainless steel material, also known as 1.4029 stainless steel. It is one of martensite stainless steels, containing about 0.3% carbon and 13% chromium. In addition, it also contains about 1% sulfur, which is one of the added elements to improve the cutting performance of the material.
X29CrS13 can be processed through various methods, including forging, quenching, tempering, and cooling. It should be noted that appropriate preheating and cooling measures should be taken during processing to avoid cracks and deformation

Applications

X29CrS13 has good corrosion resistance and wear resistance, and can obtain high strength and hardness under proper heat treatment conditions. It is commonly used in the manufacture of parts requiring high hardness and wear resistance, such as knives, cutting implements, bearings and valves.
