Product Information

AMS 5679J steel has excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance, suitable for use under high strength, high reliability, and high-temperature stress. It has excellent elasticity, fatigue, and impact properties, and performs well in both high and low temperature environments.
It should be noted that AMS 5679J steel requires heat treatment to achieve optimal performance, so it needs to be treated according to standards before use.

Round bar / Wire rod (Diameter):5.0 mm to 800 mm
Square bar / Flat bar: 5.0 mm to 500 mm
Forging piece: Stepped shafts with flanks / discs /tubes /slugs /donuts /cubes /other different shapes based on OEM.
Heavy/middle plate via hot rolled: T2.0 - 800 mm X W10 - 1000 mm X L500-1000 mm
Sheet steel via cold rolled: T1.0 - 10 mm X W5 - 1000 mm X L100 - 1000 mm
Steel strip via cold rolled: T5.0 - 10 mm X W10 - 1000 mm X L (or in coil form)
Length: Fixed length or random length or based on the customer's special requirement.

Applications

AMS 5679J is generally used as the filler metal of bare welding wire for gas tungsten arc or gas metal arc welding of parts made of alloys with similar composition, but its use is not limited to such applications.
