2.Open the package of pads,unfold one,and let your pet sniff it.Praise your pet while they are investigating-this can help prevent them from being afraid of the pad.

3.Unfold and place the pad on the floor,plastic side down and white absorbent side up.

4.Lead your pet onto the pad for initial trtaining and allow them to smell the specially treated pheromone-scented attractant.

5.Allow your pet to relieve itself and then immediately reward them with praise and/or a treat to reinforce the positive behavior.If they do not relieve themselves immediately,take them back several times until thet are successful.If the pet relieves themselves somewhere other than the pad,lead them back to the end until they are successful.

6.Dispose of the soiled pad and replace with a fresh one frequently.
