Introduction:

Rail-mounted container gantry crane is a rail-mounted crane for unloading, stacking and loading ISO standard containers of 20 feet, 40 feet, 45 feet. Its power supply is provided by the cable reel. The crane consists of three mechanisms: hoisting, trolley walking and gantry walking. The trolley runs along a track mounted on the gantry beam and is able to serve between the legs. The crane can move in a straight line along the track. The crane is equipped with a suitable flexible hydraulic container spreader, connected to the trolley by the upper frame and wire rope system.

1. Hoisting mechanism and trolley travel are able to work simultaneously or separately with load; the same applies to gantry travel and trolley travel.
2. Electrical drive of main working mechanism is equipped with full digital AC frequency convertor, PLC speed governor and constant power adjustment device for hoisting mechanism.
3. The crane has a monitoring and management system. It has the function of data collection, analysis, management, and fault diagnosis and is also able to deliver the main parameters and operating conditions to the electrical room, cabin and control centre for monitoring and control.
4. Compared with ship-to-shore gantry crane, the trolley of Rail Mounted Gantry Crane travels at a lower speed and usually equipped without anti-sway stabilizer, while it will be equipped with anti-sway device if users need it for reducing operation stress and improving production efficiency. For rope type lifting mechanism, increasing the rope damp is a usual way to accomplish stabilization. And for rigid type lifting mechanism, its own rigid components are available to accomplish stabilization.
