This Cisco SFP-10G-ER40 compatible 1310nm SFP+ Optical Transceiver Module offers a variety of 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity options for data centers, enterprise wiring closets and service provider transport applications. Max links up to 40km over LC duplex connector with standard single-mode fiber (SMF, G.652).

The SFP-10G-ER40 transceiver complies with SFP+ MSA specifications (SFF-8431, SFF-8432, SFF-8472), 10 Gigabit Ethernet specifications (10GBASE-ER/EW per IEEE 802.3ae ), and 10G Fibre Channel. Digital diagnostics monitoring is available via a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in SFF-8472.

This SFP-10G-LR optical module is programmed to be compatible with a wide range of Cisco network equipment such as Cisco 3100 WS series, Cisco 4500 WS series, Cisco 4900 series, Cisco 5700 Air series, Cisco 6000, Cisco 6800 series, Cisco C6800 series, Cisco Nexus 2000 series, Cisco Nexus 3000 series, Cisco Nexus 5000 series, Cisco Nexus 7000 series, Cisco Nexus 9000 series, Cisco WS-C2960S series, Cisco WS-C3560E series, Cisco UCS series and etc.
