Description
The GIGAOPTO's GT9-L0803-02x series multi-mode transceivers are low power, high performance modules for duplex optical data communications such as SONET OC-3 / SDH STM-1 and Fast Ethernet. This series 1x9 transceiver module provides 2km transmission distance over multi-mode fiber at a nominal wavelength of 850nm. The module integrates two circuits for receiving and transmitting, adopts 1×9 package, uses single +3.3V /+5V power supply.
The transmitter section uses a multiple quantum well VCSEL laser and is a class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC-60825. The receiver section uses an integrated InGaAs detector preamplifier (IDP) mounted in an optical header and a limiting post-amplifier IC. A PECL logic interface simplifies interface to the external circuitry.
