Seamless pipe meaning: seamless steel pipe is perforated from a whole round steel, and there is no weld on the surface of the steel pipe, so it is called seamless steel pipe
Cold Drawn Seamless (CDS) as implied is made by cold drawing a larger mother seamless pipe, which is generally manufactured through a HFS process. In the CDS process, the mother pipe is pulled through a die & plug in cold without any heating.
Cold worked steels are typically harder and stronger than standard hot rolled steels. Cold rolled steel is essentially hot rolled steel that has been through further processing. Once hot rolled steel has cooled, it is then re-rolled at room temperature to achieve more exact dimensions and better surface qualities
