Tapioca material enters the granulation bin via the feeding auger and moves through the chute into the pressing chamber. The forced feeder directs material to two pressing areas where high-speed rotation of the ring die compacts the material between the die and pressure rollers. Continuous extrusion forms columnar pellets that are cut to required lengths before proceeding to the next processing stage.
