Introduction of Helium Leak Detector:
A helium leak detector, also known as a mass spectrometer leak detector (MSLD), is used to find and size leaks into or out of a system or containing equipment. Helium, the tracer gas, is injected into a test component linked to the leak detector. The helium escaping through the test component enters the system, where it is measured and shown on a meter. It is utilized in package design, failure analysis, tooling qualification, packaging line setup and validation, and product quality monitoring.
