What is the function of automobile throttle valve?

The function of the throttle valve is to regulate the load oil pressure related to the engine load. Since the regulation is realized through the throttle valve, it is also called throttle oil pressure. The throttle oil pressure is controlled by the accelerator pedal, so it is also called accelerator pedal control oil pressure. The throttle oil pressure is used to regulate the main oil pressure, torque converter oil pressure and lubricating oil pressure. In addition, the more important role of throttle oil pressure is to control downshift. There are two spool valves in the throttle valve body, one on the top is the throttle valve and the other on the bottom is the forced downshift valve. There is a spring between the two valves, which makes the two valves subject to spring tension. There is another spring in the valve that acts on the upper part of the throttle valve, giving the throttle valve a downward tension. The exposed part of the forced downshift valve is equipped with a roller, which is in rolling contact with the cam of the throttle. The cam is linked with the throttle shaft through a cable in a flexible shaft. When the throttle is opened and closed, the cam rotates, and the cam moves up and down against the forced downshift valve, so the forced downshift valve pushes the spring and the throttle valve to move up and down to control the throttle oil pressure.
