20cm width PVC coated fiberglass fabric is made of 200g fiberglass fabric 7628 coated with 40gsm grey PVC on two sides. Then the totally weight is 280g/m2 with 0.25mm thickness. PVC coating is both waterproof and fireproof which makes the coated fabric can be used widely in many household and industrial application.
The coated fiber glass cloth combines the properties of fiber glass and polyvinyl chloride(PVC). So the PVC coated fiberglass fabric is waterproof, fire resistant, chemical corrosion resistant and abrasion resistant.
Based on its propeties, PVC coated fiber glass fabric has been used for production of sports products, such as surfboards, boats and yachts waterproof and high strength parts, Fireproofing electric welding blanket, thermal insulated shelter, fireproof tent, etc. What's more, PVC coated material is also can used in auto/train/ship covering, house field, industrial protective shield. PVC coated fiberglass fabric is strong than ordinary awning/tarpaulin fabric so it has longer working life.
