Fiberglass cloth is a woven material available in various sizes to allow custom strength, thickness, and weight in projects. It provides great strength and durability when layered with a resin to form a hardened composite.
Fiberglass cloth is the highest quality, and the toughest weave fiberglass available. It is made especially for use with polyester or epoxy resin.
It is excellent contouring qualities make it easy to apply to compound curves. This fiberglass cloth is paintable.
Used for covering any wood which needs extra protection. Fir or Pine plywood will check badly unless covered by glass and epoxy resin. Many builders prefer to cut this wide cloth into strips for stitch and glue construction. It does lie flatter, and if cut on the bias, will conform more readily to curves.
