An excavator sliding arm, also known as a telescopic arm or extendable boom for excavator. It is designed to increase the reach and versatility of the excavator by a telescopic cylinder allowing the arm to extend and retract. 

The arm is made up of several sections connected by a telescopic cylinder, allowing it to extend up to a maximum length and retract. The excavator operator can adjust the length of the arm using the controls loed in the cab. As the arm extends, its reach increases and the excavator can reach further into the ground or reach around obstacles. The arm can also be equipped with various attachments such as standard bucket, clamshell buckets and grapple for different types of excavation.
