Q1: Why is there no boom and bucket rod cylinder in the scheme?
A1: First, the entire long arm is lengthened, but the boom is lengthened only from the middle sleeve to the end, so the original boom and bucket rod cylinder can be used. Secondly, using the original parts can save you costs.
Q2: How long can a small excavator be equipped with a boom? Do you need to increase the counterweight?
A2. Generally speaking, the longest arm of 30-40 excavators is recommended to be 8 meters long, and 0.1cbm bucket can be configured without additional weight. It is recommended that the longest arm length of the excavator be 12 meters, the bucket of 0.1-0.15 cubic meters can be configured, and the weight should be 0.5 tons. It is recommended that the longest arm length of the 60-80 excavator be 12 meters, the bucket of 0.15 to 0.25 cubic meters can be configured, and the weight should be 0.5-0.7 tons.
It is not recommended to extend the boom to its maximum length because small excavators are prone to shaking.
Q3: How long does it take to install the long arm of the excavator?
This depends on the installer and machine size.
Usually disconnect the original boom, glue the cylinder, and then fix the new one.
