The main production material of copper plate is red copper, the use of red copper: much more widely than pure iron, 50% of the copper is purified by electrolysis every year for pure copper, used in the electrical industry. The copper mentioned here should be very pure indeed, containing up to 99 copper. More than 95% is necessary. Very small amounts of impurities, especially phosphorus, arsenic, aluminum, etc., will greatly reduce the conductivity of copper.
It has good mechanical properties, good plasticity in hot state, good plasticity in cold state, good machinability, easy fiber welding and welding, corrosion resistance, but easy to produce corrosion rupture, in addition to cheap price, is widely used as a common brass variety.
