ELECMAN ® Galvanized steel seismic hanger rod stiffener for thread rods is seismic rod bracing clamps used as additional support for bracing threaded rods used to suspend piping, ducts, conduit and various other suspended equipment. Seismic forces act in all directions.

• Electro-galvanized and hot dipped galvanized are both available.
• Used with strut channels.
• Provides resistance to pull-out and side slip.
• Alternate teeth are spaced and designed to develop a wedging action that increases with pressure or load.
• Secure strut channel to vertical hangers with rod stiffeners to prevent buckling during a seismic event.
• Seismic rod stiffeners feature a break-off bolt head, which helps reduce inspection time by allowing a visual verification of the proper torque and installation.
