8 strands UHMWPE rope is wildly used for marine for yacht, big container ship, LNG ship, VLCC mooring due to its ultra-high strength & light weight. UHMWPE mooring rope is made from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber due to its property of low density, wear resistance, low-temperature resistance, UV resistance, and chemical corrosion resistance. Such anchor mooring rope can float on water & easy to carry & handle by ship crew because of its light weight property. At the same weight, The strength of UHMWPE anchoring rope is 7-9 times of the steel wire rope and 3 times more than the same weight of polyester rope
