Features:

SS340RT/SS440R sensor IC is a small and universal digital Hall effect device operated by the magnetic field of a permanent magnet or an electromagnet. They are designed to respond to unipolar: north (SS340RT) or south (SS440R). These unipolar Hall ics offer three different magnetic sensitivities.

To meet a wide range of potential applications: • The SS341RT and SS441R offer the highest sensitivity, with a typical operating point of 75 G at 25°C[77°F].

The SS343RT and SS443R offer moderate sensitivity, with a typical operating point of 135 G at 25°C[77°F].

The sensitivity of SS349RT and SS449R is the lowest, with a typical operating point of 305 G at 25°C[77°F]. These sensors come in two package forms: • The SS340RT has a small SOT-23 surface mount package.

The SS440R is available in a lead flat TO-92 type package.

The small size of the SS340RT requires less PC board space, enabling it to be used for smaller components. Its 3 Vdc capacity can be used in low-voltage applications to improve energy efficiency.

The SS340RT series offers tapes and reels (3,000 per reel). The SS440R series is available in bulk packaging (1,000 pieces per bag).
