MQ135 MQ-135 Gas Sensor For Domestic Gas Alarms Portable Gas Detectors
MQ135 Gas Sensor For Domestic Gas Alarms Portable Gas Detectors
Working Principle:
The sensitive material of the MQ135 gas sensor is SnO₂, which has lower conductivity in clean air. When the target pollution gas exists, the sensor's conductivity increases with the rise of the gas concentration. Users can convert the change of conductivity into the corresponding output signal of the gas concentration through a simple circuit.
Features:
- Wide - range detection, which can detect various gases such as ammonia, nitrogen oxides, alcohols, benzene, smoke, and CO₂.
- High sensitivity and fast response.
- Stable performance and long service life.
- Simple drive circuit, with both analog and digital output options, and the sensitivity can be adjusted through the on - board potentiometer.
Main Applications:
It is widely used in domestic gas alarms, industrial gas alarms, and portable gas detectors, as well as air quality control equipment for buildings and offices.
Structure Description:
The MQ135 gas - sensitive element is composed of a micro - AL₂O₃ ceramic tube, a SnO₂ sensitive layer, a measuring electrode, and a heater, which are fixed in a cavity made of plastic or stainless steel. The packaged gas - sensitive element has 6 pin - shaped pins, 4 of which are used for signal extraction, and 2 are used for providing heating current.
