The service life of the C/NLL Oxygen CiTiceL is inversely proportional to the amount of oxygen consumed by the sensor. Because City Technology does not have knowledge of the operating conditions of any particular application, the company cannot provide any guarantees about the service life of the sensors. However, the following guidelines should be used:
Under normal operating conditions (i.e. ppm level), the sensor has a large excess capacity and will only gradually lose sensitivity. However, it is recommended to replace the sensor annually to maintain the best sensitivity.
It is recommended not to use these sensors in ambient air, or to keep them in the air for long periods of time. This will greatly reduce the service life of the sensor.
