4O2 oxygen sensor is a primary battery type sensor. It generates current through the reduction reaction of oxygen at the working electrode and the corresponding reduction reaction of the cathode material. The magnitude of the generated current is proportional to the oxygen concentration. By measuring the current size, the level of oxygen concentration can be determined.
