Core Operating Principle
Utilizes a three-electrode system (Working Electrode [WE], Reference Electrode [RE], and Counter Electrode [CE]):
Ammonia gas permeates a gas-permeable membrane into the electrolyte chamber, where it undergoes an electrochemical oxidation reaction at a fixed potential, releasing electrons to generate a minute current. The magnitude of the current is strictly linearly proportional to the ammonia concentration; the downstream circuitry captures this current and converts it into an ammonia concentration value in ppm.
