Aluminum circle plate have excellent electrical conductivity. It conducts electricity less well than gold, silver or copper, but because it is so abundant and so light, it is only one-third as dense as copper, so it carries the same amount of electricity with only half the mass of copper. In addition, the oxide film on the surface of aluminum not only has the ability of corrosion resistance but also a certain degree of insulation, so the aluminum wafer metal has a very wide range of uses in the electrical appliance manufacturing industry, wire and cable and radio industry.

| Cold Working: It is readily cold worked by all conventional methods. | ||||||||||||
| Annealing: Annealing, during or following cold working, is done at 775 F, allowing adequate time for thorough heating, followed by air cooling. | ||||||||||||
| Hardening: Hardens as a result of cold working only. | ||||||||||||
