IPL LASER Principle:
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) works by targeting the dark pigment surrounding the hair follicle to destroy the follicle enough to cause the hair to fall out and inhibit its ability to regrow.
The dark pigment found in your hair and skin that determines its color is called melanin.
Melanin is especially dense at the base of the hair roots, making a good target for the powerful light pulses from the IPL device.
IPL Broadband Pulsed Light
When light is absorbed by melanin, it generates heat energy, which is what causes the damage. The growing hair will fall out within one to two weeks after treatment.
YAG LASER Principle
Through the selective photothermal action of the laser, the pigment masses in the skin are targeted and “broken up”, turning them into tiny pigment particles. Eventually, they are eliminated through the body’s metabolism. The spots will then fade, and with a few more sessions, they will “disappear”.
