The test uses one beta-HCG antibody to bind fluorescent latex particles and another beta-HCG antibody to cover the test line. This kit does not use an instrument and can produce results when used alone. The product is automatically produced and packaged in a 100,000-level purification workshop, and the shell is sterilized with 75% alcohol.

The structurally intact hCG molecule consists of two non-covalently linked polypeptides, which are divided into α subunits and β subunits. The α subunit is non-specific and has the same structure as the α subunit of other pituitary hormones such as thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), and luteinizing hormone (LH). β-subunits are specific, so they are often used as target antigens to detect various hCG-related molecules containing β-subunits, including regular and notch hCG, free β-subunits, and β-core fragments. hCG in the blood is an important indicator for diagnosing ectopic pregnancy, and it is also the main marker for diagnosing trophoblastic diseases such as early pregnancy and mole.
