3L Retrievable Bridge Plug Packer Type RBP For Drill Stem Testing
The 3L Retrievable Bridge Plug is the packer type bridge plug, the RBP consists of packer-type sealing elements, mechanical slips, and a large-area bypass. The sealing elements are less susceptible to damage while running in the hole because they are not in contact with the casing. When set, the 3L bridge plug does not move up or down the casing, regardless of pressure reversals.
This plug can be run alone on tubing or can be run below the RTTS or CHAMP packer. The tool is run in the hole, set, and released from the tubing or packer. It remains in place until the tubing or packer is re-latched, the bypass valve is opened, and the slips are released.
