Lock Open Downhole Tester Valve / Select Tester Valve For DST Service

The Select tester valve is lock open downhole tester valve used in drill stem testing service. This kind of downhole tester valve is a full opening, annulus pressure operated tool used in cased holes testing operation. The select tester valve has the capabilities of taking multiple downhole closures where pipe manipulation is restricted and a full opening string is desired.

The downhole tester valve is composed of four basic sections; ball valve section, upper hydraulic section, nitrogen section and the metering section. The select tester valve is featured with ability to lock the ball valve in the open position at any point during the test and reactivate the tool for normal operations.
