The Motorhead Assembly for coiled tubing service consists of Big ID Flapper Check Valve, Big ID Hydraulic Disconnect and the Burst Disc Circulation Valve. Compared to conventional individual components, the ID increased approximately by 40% and the big ID motorheady assembly is specially designed for non-heavy duty operations, such as sand washing, clean-out and gas lifting, etc.

The standard configuration consists of the maximum flow through bore while maintaining maximum tensile strength in the motorhead assembly. By interchanging the piston sleeve, the drop/trip ball size can be varied to suit the desired tool string requirements. This is a particularly useful feature when the hydraulic disconnect is situated below jars and intensifiers and ID restrictions are a considering factor. Running the heavy duty hydraulic disconnect below jars and intensifiers ensures that if disconnection of the toolstring is necessary, a greater proportion of the tool string is safely returned to surface.
