Slick Line Tools Knuckle Joint For Oilfield Wireline Service

The Hydraulic Jar is a wireline service tool designed for dependable upward jarring during wireline operations. When a strain is taken on the wireline the top sub and mandrel are pulled upward while the piston is impeded in its upward movement by the Hydraulic fluid. This delaying action of slick line hydraulic jar allows sufficient strain to be taken on the line to strike a blow of the required intensity.
When the piston passes from the restricted cylinder bore to the enlarged section, fluid resistance creases allowing the mandrel to travel upward at great speed to strike the middle body insert and transmit the jarring force.
