Hydraulic Tool Trap / Manual Tool Trap For Wireline Pressure Control Equipment
The tool trap is one of wireline pressure control equipment, there are two types tool trap available including hydraulic tool trap and manual tool trap. The tool trap is mainly used for preventing instruments from falling into the well because the cable is accidently stretched breaking or released after the instrument sting is lifted to the lubricator from the well. The tool trap is normally closed when it is stopped and is put into the well to work.
