Well Completion Tools WVRT Retrieving Tool for High Pressure Retrievable Packer
The retrieving tool is used to retrieve WVBA / WHPH packers. To retrieve the packer, the retrieving tool is run on workstring, stung into the packer bore, and latched into the packer bore with left hand thread on top. Once latched, the tool locates the packer’s release sleeve and moves it upward, allowing the packer to be released. Additional upward movement of the workstring releases the sleeve and moves the packer mandrel up, which allows the packer slips to retract and the packer to be retrieved.
