WMST Mechanical Setting Tool For WSV/WSVB bridge plug / Cement Packer
The WMST mechanical setting tool sets and operates WSV/WSVB bridge plug or cement packer. This setting tool is run on tubing or drillpipe and is operated by workstring rotation and reciprocation. Through selecting differrent setting kits, this setting tool can be easily converted to set bridge plug or cement packer. When used to setting cement packer, only one trip running can realize setting and cementing. This tool also has load transfer feature by option to limit the amount of string weight that can be applied to the sliding valve. This feature helps ensure that the packer mandrel is placed in compression rather than in tension, making the tool more resistant to breakage.
