Blow Out Preventer (BOP) test stumps conformed with API 6A or API 16A standard, are often used to test Annular BOP or drillers testing operations at off-shore and on-shore drilling rig, mainly for locking mechanism test and sealing mechanism test. The BOP test stump may have base plate, side and bottom ports, and fixed or removable Test mandrel retaining threads.
Test flanges or BOP test stumps usually incorporate customer specified design requirements to meet customer specific needs.
